A 91-year-old Richmond Hill man who went missing early Wednesday morning has been found.
York Regional Police said Vaclav, whose surname was not released, left his home near Bathurst Street and McCallum Drive at approximately 6:50 a.m. on August 19.
Police described him as vulnerable and said he was wearing only underwear and slippers, with a towel around his neck when he left his home.
The search prompted concern for his safety, but fortunately, it ended quickly. Just before 9 a.m., York Regional Police announced that Vaclav had been located, less than three hours after he was last seen.
No additional details about where he was found or his condition were released. The good news: Vaclav is no longer missing, and the search has ended. |
