Summer evenings are made for live music, and Richmond Hill's Concerts in the Park series continues this Thursday, July 16, with a tribute to one of rock's most iconic artists.

This week's featured performance is Scarecrow – The Best of John Cougar Mellencamp, bringing classic hits and high-energy entertainment to Mill Pond Park from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, making it a perfect midweek outing for families, friends, and music lovers of all ages.

Presented by Tim Hortons, Concerts in the Park is one of Richmond Hill's favourite summer traditions, featuring live tribute bands and outdoor performances throughout July and August. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, relax under the evening sky, and enjoy a fun night of music in one of the city's most beautiful parks.

The concert series continues over the next few weeks with more crowd-pleasing performances, including Best of the '80s featuring George St. Kitts on July 23 and Chicago Transit on July 30.
