This week, the Mill Pond Gallery in Richmond Hill invites art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the captivating world of mixed media art. From July 8 to July 12, 2026, the gallery proudly features the works of Dalia Manoim, whose creations beautifully intertwine wildflower paintings and poppy art.

Manoim's collection presents a harmonious blend where wildflowers and poppies emerge from seashells, symbolizing the meeting of garden and sea. Each piece is meticulously crafted with rich textures, vibrant colors, and luminous light, reminiscent of treasures washed ashore and blooming along the coastline. This exhibition serves as an invitation to pause and appreciate the delicate, radiant worlds where land and water converge.

In her artistic statement, Manoim reflects, "In my art, the extraordinary meets the everyday through the lens of endless possibilities. The Mill Pond Gallery's Summer Artists in Residence program offers visitors a unique opportunity to witness artists at work. Each Tuesday throughout July and August, members of the Richmond Hill Group of Artists begin a one-week residency, allowing patrons to observe the creative process firsthand, engage with the artists, and enjoy the evolving displays.

Notably, on many Thursday evenings, the City of Richmond Hill hosts "Concerts in The Park" at Mill Pond Park. During these events, the gallery extends its hours, remaining open until after the concert, providing an ideal opportunity to combine an evening of music with a visit to the art exhibition.
