Canadian Firm to Spearhead Technical Work and Drill Planning in Ontario |
Richmond Hill Resources has appointed Critical Discoveries, a Canadian exploration company, to lead the technical work program for the Martello Gold Project in Ontario.
The scope of work includes compiling and digitizing historical data, producing maps summarizing key exploration results, analyzing geophysical and geochemical trends to identify priority drill targets, and providing a preliminary drill targeting plan for Richmond Hill's maiden drill program.
Critical Discoveries is expected to complete the desktop study by January 31, 2026.
Hamish Harris, CEO of Richmond Hill, expressed satisfaction with the swift progress, stating, "It is pleasing that external consultants are able to progress the project on such an expedited basis."
In addition to the Martello Gold Project, Richmond Hill has appointed IOS Services Géoscientifiques to lead technical work at the Saint Sophie Copper Project in Quebec, indicating significant progress in a short period.
Richmond Hill Resources is working towards acquiring a 100% commercial and beneficial interest in the Martello Gold Project, with the aim of commencing drilling in the first quarter of 2026.
Further updates on the timing of the drill program are expected in the coming weeks.
Additionally, the company has completed a DRONE-MAG survey over 773.7 line-kilometers of the Martello Gold Project area, utilizing advanced drone technology to gather detailed magnetic data.
This survey aims to fill gaps in previous data and provide valuable information for the upcoming drill campaign.
Richmond Hill has engaged Critical Discoveries to assess the findings from the survey, with results anticipated to inform the maiden drill program.
